Capturing Authentic Stories

Maxed out are a character study of Max Gerston(my brother) and his career in the motorcycle racing industry. My concept was to show the ins and outs of the racing industry while featuring the warm personality of my brother and his support system. I am making the concept visual by showing footage of him racing, along with footage of him in his everyday life to paint a complete picture of the dedication required to race. The aesthetic I am going for is to emulate the videos and documentaries of our racing heroes growing up. The supercross and motocross movies we watched growing up became a blueprint for our lives. My documentary is going to be artistic because of the creative angles, captivating footage, and a showing a glimpse of our humor as a family.
